Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What does the installer version have?

A: It has the game, with the Direct3D patch installed and includes music pack select (Default/PC/Saturn and Arcade). You only need to install and get to play!

Q: How I know which version is the installer version?

A: The RetroBox installer version should be the one that you downloaded here.

Q: What is the difference between the Direct3D and Non-Direct3D version?

A: Both are there in different executables (RALLYD3D.exe is the Direct3D version), with the D3D version having a hidden weather select (Hold any direction while the track loads) and improved graphics, while the NonD3D version is there for compatibility. Also, both use different save files. (SRALLY_0 for D3D and SEGARALLY_0 for NonD3D)

Q: I can't hear any music ingame!

A: 1. If you are not using the installer version, and you are using the original CD version, make sure the drive where the CD is placed is set to D: (Or the virtual drive where you mounted the CD file)

2. If you are using the installer version, make sure you have _inmm installed.

3. If that doesn't work yet, and you are using a x86 bit machine, then you need to download the Music Fix for x86 above.

Q: What is that of music packs?

A: The Default version is the normal music that the game has. The Arcade version uses the songs from the original Model 2 arcade version.

Q: How I change the music pack?

A: In the installed game folder, you should find a file called SETMUSIC.exe which is used to change music packs.
