How to install and play properly the game:

1. Install the demo included in the archive. To make it less confusing and consistent, when the installer asks you to what folder you want to install the game, call the folder "SEGA RALLY 2" instead of "SEGA RALLY 2 DEMO", or whatever you want to call it. You can install this demo wherever you want in your computer, as long as you installed it in the place where you want to install the full game.

2. Use the "SegaRally2InstallerPlus" executable, which is the full game installer. You need to install the game in the same exact folder you installed the demo, and if you installed it in "C:\SR2" for a example, you need to make the installer install the game in "C:\SR2" and not "C:\SR2\Sega Rally 2".

3. After you have installed the game, it's recommended that you always run the game as administrator to avoid issues. If you wish to have a shortcut to directly run the game without the launcher, make a shortcut of the file"StartSegaRally2.bat" that is in the game folder instead of "SEGA RALLY 2.exe", or else, there may be certain issues not fixed (Basically, the batch file acts as a wrapper to fix some issues).

-If you have the demo installed from before, you can just install the full game without problems, as long as you install it in the same folder as the demo you had installed.

-If you don't install or have installed the demo before installing the full game, it will give you a error, so please don't skip the first step (unless you have the demo installed).

Q: What does the installer version have?

A: It includes the game already configured, with music included and doesn't require a CD. You only need to install and get to play!

Q: How I know which version is the installer version?

A: The RetroBox installer version should be the one that you downloaded here.

Q: The game crashes if I pause and unpause the game!
A: That only happens if you run "SEGA RALLY 2.exe" instead of the launcher or the batch file mentioned above. If it happens even when you do use the launcher of the batch file, make sure you open the file in administrator.

Q: I can't hear any music ingame!

A: Make sure if you have _inmm installed, the game launcher should ask you if you have it installed, and if you don't, it will open the installer. This will only happen once.
